WE’RE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE A WELL DESERVED WIN FOR THE ROCKPOOL IN THE SOUTH WEST TOURISM AWARDS

Over the last two years, we have been lucky enough to have won a variety of awards, through being nominated by our loyal guests or a panel of specialist judges.

Cornwall Tourism – Casual Dining Silver Award

After a very competitive year against the very best in tourism and hospitality businesses across Cornwall, we are delighted to win Silver in the Casual Dining category. The Cornwall Tourism Award winners are selected by an expert team of leaders in their industry and judge based on a surprise visit, as well as the businesses top qualities, recent improvements, feedback and plans for the future. 

South West Tourism – Casual Dining Silver Award

As well as our Silver award in the Cornwall Tourism awards, we are incredibly excited to have also won silver in the South West Tourism Awards for Casual Dining. The South West Tourism awards select the leading tourism and hospitality businesses across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Bath, Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Taste of the West – Gold

Taste of the West have been promoting and supporting the South West food and drink industry for 30 years. They focus is on sustainability and using local produce, quality of food and quality of service – all of which is very important to us at the Rockpool. To win this award we were visited by an expert judge in the hospitality industry.

Surfers Against Sewage – Plastic Free Champion

Sustainability is incredibly important to us at The Rockpool. We have teamed up with Surfers Against Sewage to cut down on the plastic waste used in the hospitality industry, making changes in our restaurant towards a better future for the planet. These changes have been recognised by SAS, making us a Plastic Free Champion.

 Surfers Against Sewage – 250 club member

At The Rockpool, we are committed to protecting the environment, especially the beautiful Cornish Coast surrounding our location. We have chosen to make an ongoing donation to SAS to further support the charity and because of this, we are now recognised as a Surfers Against Sewage Club 250 member.
