The Rockpool beach cafe is situated in the Gwithian dunes, just steps from Godrevy beach. Our vibe here is friendly and relaxed (think barefoot and rustic) buzzing with families, friends, surfers, wild swimmers and salty seadogs. The view pours in from all angles whether inside or outside on the beautiful deck or in the back garden to catch a view of the waves.

Endorsed by Surfers Against Sewage as ‘Plastic Free Champions’ and in their 250 Members’ Club, we are at the forefront of supporting our beautiful outdoor location, including the National Trust headland and the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Our restaurant menu is fresh, flavourful yet unfussy – delicious, flavourful options from small bites to main meals, using only the finest Cornish produce. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are built into the menu however please just ask if you require something specific – we are always happy to adapt a dish to suit you.

Events and music occur throughout the year, particularly the summer months. Take a look at our news page and follow us on social to find out more. Dogs are very welcome too!

Families can keep children happy by exploring our wildlife challenge, in association with local Nature Reserve, St. Gothian Sands, situated next to The Rockpool.

You can even walk right off the beach to find your table – you’re welcome to sit outside if your wetsuit hasn’t dried!

Sustainability is at the forefront of our everyday practise here at The Rockpool. Together with being Plastic Free, supporting local, independent and ethical producers is vital to our ethos.

Godrevy, Gwithian and the other surrounding villages in our community provide the majority of produce for our seasonally inspired menu. Some of our suppliers are within walking distance!
